Small Impact Studios

Scott Chaseling and Gina Fairley collectively bring over fifty years of working and making in the arts to Small Impact Studio.
While jewellery and homewares are fields apart, they are inextricably linked at Small Impact Studio – both embracing an ethos of sustainability. Working with ‘rescued’ bottles, they have honed their design identity so that their glassware reveals its history very lightly, pushing the material as a design resource. They believe that good design must come first, and only then will impact follow.
Scott has presented over 35 solo exhibitions nationally and internationally across his glass practice, while Gina has worked as an arts journalist and exhibition manager before turning to her creative jewellery practice. The pair have run art spaces in Berlin, San Francisco and Sydney, and now turn their focus to the Southern Highlands, located half way between Sydney and Canberra in Australia.
