Luma Kuna

Vanessa Sotillo Elespuru, known as Vanessa Sotieles, is a Peruvian-Australian artist who migrated to Australia in 2018 and currently resides in Canberra. With a background in Communication Sciences, Advertising Graphics, and Creative Photography, her artistic path reflects a dynamic blend of disciplines.

In 2020-2021, Vanessa expanded her creative horizons through online workshops in Mexico and Spain, diving into various artistic fields. She has since participated in group exhibitions across Mexico, Sydney, and Melbourne, continually pushing the boundaries of her expression.

In 2023, she founded Luma Kuna, an Art and Design Studio that produces limited-edition, handcrafted pieces. With a focus on mindful and artisanal creation, Luma Kuna merges aesthetics with experience, offering pieces that beautify spaces while awakening the senses and spirit. The studio’s collaboration with Peruvian artisans emphasizes the preservation of ancestral techniques, sustainability, and cultural celebration. Each piece tells a sensory narrative, connecting customers with a deeper appreciation for artisanal beauty and conscious design.
