Robyn Booth Ceramics

Robyn Booth lives in the Canberra region in rural NSW. She works from her home based studio and is inspired by the texture, colour and form of the Australian bushland where she lives. She is working towards a sustainable practice using solar energy for firings. Robyn finds porcelain gives her the best expression for the colour palette and surface texture of her work. She uses stains to hand colour clay or apply pattern and texture to create individually designed, hand built functional ware. Robyn’s background is in Visual Arts education. Her interest in clay led to formal study in ceramics at the Canberra School of Art and NSW TAFE.
