Newcastle Productions

As a way of connecting with his new home he started to explore the Newcastle’s streets with his sketchpad and pen, drawing those aspects of the environment that felt most foreign to him.  Through projects such as drawing ‘100 Letterboxes of Newcastle’, this observational process developed into a full-time practice. Trevor has gone on to extend his work from Newcastle to Canberra and Sydney, working in media as diverse as large-scale murals to screen-printing.

In 2012 Trevor spent six weeks as the printmaker in residence at Canberra‘s Megalo Print studio and gallery. The prints he produced at Megalo formed the basis of his  “Greetings from Canberra” range of prints and related products that can now be found in many galleries and shops around Canberra.
